Homecoming Parade!

Homecoming 2008 was a blast! Great football game… way to go Bobcats!

The Homecoming Parade was a blast. The trailer came together nicely. The Klaassen boys thought we needed more power (Sounds like Tim, the Tool Man Taylor) so instead of having 2 Car Batteries run the transformer… they put together 5 Car batteries encased in a cabinet that weighed about 400 lbs! Needless to say, we had more than enough power! Anna spent hours doing the sign. The Singers sang their hearts out. The Musicians played their hearts out. The children threw out candy and distributed flyers. David drove the float without making any of us fall down. But the most significant thing that happened is that we got to PRAISE THE LORD!

Finally, don’t forget to PRAY for tomorrow’s GATHER AT THE RIVER celebration! Remember to set your clocks back and that the service starts at 11:00 PM with a Potluck After.
Pray for me as I prepare to preach.
Pray for the Praise Team as they prepare to lead us in worship.
Pray for all who serve behind the scenes with the setup and takedown and the serving of food.
Pray for God to draw those that really need to hear the good news of God’s Love!
Pray most of all that GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED!
