I would like to put a need on your heart. Would you consider being a part of our United Methodist Women’s group? We need you!
We meet the third Tuesday of the month at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall. We have ten meetings a year. June and December are open months. Our mission is to help others locally and internationally. We need your ideas, your help, and most importantly your love and desire to help others.
In Christian Love,
Medina United Methodist Women
through love serve one another. For all the law is justified in one word,
even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
~ Galatians 5:13 NKJ
UMW Organization: The United Methodist Women is the group of women in each congregation organized for mission. Each local organized unit reports directly to the district and conference organizations of UMW.
Our Purpose: is to support women in their relationship with God, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; mentoring, modeling, and teaching one another, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in local and global ministries of the church so we might experience the freedom to become all that God intends us to be.
Membership Invitation: A member of the UMW is any woman who commits herself to the purpose of the UMW and chooses to participate in prayer, giving, study, and service. The UMW celebrates a diverse and inclusive membership and welcomes all women who desire to become members. We are a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in our spiritual growth and personal development. Membership is open to any woman who indicates a desire to belong and to participate in the global mission of the church. Any woman may attend our UMW meetings & events, being a member of the United Methodist Church or the UMW is not required.
General Meeting: A business meeting and program takes place on the third Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM, in the MUMC Fellowship Hall, followed by refreshments.
